Nothing Tastes As Good As Healthy Feels

Here we are week 2 of January. I am definately a lover of a New Year. The planning, the chance to re-set and evaluate.
I love reading all the quotes that fly around social media at this time of year, recently a few have really caught my eye and been playing over in my mind.
“NOTHING tastes as good as HEALTHY feels”. A little play on the famous Kate Moss quote: “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”
A quote that caused quite a stir back in the day.
Eating healthy foods and bringing healthy habits into your routine WILL make you feel good in other areas of your life.
Simple right?
Maybe not if you find yourself juggling the many balls of modern life, a career, rushing around with family life, maintaining the home and all the other pulls of life.
But STOP.
Enough is enough.
NOW is the time to make time for You. A moment in your daily life to keep your “feels” postive, Set a daily task that allows you some time for YOUR own personal care.
NOW is the time to listen to how we talk to ourselves, how we allow our friends/family/children to talk about themselves and others, and start to create a healthy love & fun relationship with health & fitness and ourself.
And the best bit ?
You CAN have your cake and eat it too— in fact we encourage it.
Allowing yourself to be healthy and enjoy the luxurious parts of life (in moderation) can create amazing things.
A life with balance.
A life that you LOVE.
Healthly isn’t a dress size.
Healthy isn’t a number on the scales.
Healthy is about having a healthy, balanced lifestyle AND mentality that makes YOU happy.
The moment we take the time to nourish our bodies and minds, we soar in all the other areas of life.
So “nothing tastes as good as healthy feels”
BUT
“Everything tastes better when you feel healthy”.
