What could you achieve
if you had someone to hold yourself accountable to? |
So what more could you achieve with your health & fitness if you had someone to hold you accountable?
It’s that time of year, time for reflecting and goal setting.
But how can you ensure you reach those goals without the usual detours that life often throws at us on our journeys?
The solution?
Finding that person / team that will hold you accountable.
Someone that will call you up on those usual excuse of past, someone that will help us navigate life and STILL reach our goals.
Someone that’s not just going to tell you to cut carbs, stick to 1000 kcals a day, Squat, burpee and squat more.
A team that will help you find exercise you LOVE and keep you accountable to it.
Yes of course I believe that strength training is a must and that we should limit alcohol and sugar BUT I am also realistic.
Cut it all out and you’ll only crave it more.
A healthy lifestyle is a lifestyle. It’s not just for January or 4 weeks before your annual summer holiday.
It should be part of your life.
All year round.
But so should being sociable.
Having that coffee and cake with a friend. A glass of wine with a partner of a weekend and that pudding on a Sunday with family.
Finding that balance without the guilt.
Knowing you’ve not blown your healthy lifestyle because you had a biscuit.
That’s exactly how we work at Elite Conditioning.
You won’t get a quick fix with us.
You won’t get an unrealistic meal plan to follow.
We won’t ask you to cut anything out completely.
But we will help you to consistently progress towards your goals.
We will help you navigate those things that get in the way.
We will help you keep on track with those workouts so you stay consistent rather than a week with 4 workouts and the next with none.
So if you are after making your Health & Fitness a priority in 2023, one that is consistent and you CAN commit to for the whole year not just for January we are here as your accountability team.
There have been numerous studies that show having someone keep you accountable for completing a workout with increase your motivation and therefore your results!
The perfect kick off to set you on our way is our Rise 23 event on 14th January.
From this event you will walk away with not only a vision board of your goals and dreams but a beautiful planner with 23 steps spread over the year each taking you closer to your Health and fitness gaols and keeping you accountable to yourself but also us and the other attendees via our Rise 23 WhatsApp group.
So if your thinking you don’t want to have to keep restarting your health and fitness goals every January, year in, year out.
Then let us help you make this the last time Health & fitness features on your New year goals list.
I’ve had an bit of a stumble in my own training goals this last week or so, being hit by a tooth abscess, covid and “that” stinking cold that’s going around. Knowing that I need to step back and recovery fully before returning to training fully is hard but I’ve had several messages with fellow masters athlete Dominic and training partner Leanne and know the right thing to do is take the slow road back BUT I needed that accountability to stop me heading straight back into my full plan once I got that negative test result.
Having that team behind you for accountability not only pushes you on but is vital for knowing when it’s time to slow down and take the low road for longer term gains.
For no goal is going anywhere if you’re fighting against other health issues.
Here’s to a positive week ahead where you might find my current napping schedule remaining at 3-4 hours whilst I stay focused on my long term health and fitness goals.
